![]() ![]() i then went into snappdata and found all these slots for saved games. go to steam libary right click on subnautica go to propities, local files then browse local files. After ripping my hair out in confusion i found a solution. The game then started but i was faced with a black screen and only a blue cursor and the start up music. I then went to the adjust desktop and positioning options, then clicked on no scale then saved my options. After searching for a while i updated my video driver and went to the nvidia control panel. Wjackattack24:Hey Everyone, I recently had troubles with starting subnautica, i went to start it and it would only start in the taskbar and when i went to click on it nothing happened it was just invisible.if any of this doesnt make sense please feel free to ask questions. i will post if the game is not working due to me deleting the slots but so far so good. it has started and i am now in my life pod about to start my subnautica journey. losing hope i started the game again and BAMN. At first i was like okay that should be normal but i sorta just went eh ♥♥♥♥ it and deleted all the slots even including the options (UPDATE, ONLY DELETE THE OPTIONS OTHERWISE OLD SAVES WILL BE LOST). ![]() I completed the game with a keyboard in 2D and didn't use jump very often.Hey Everyone, I recently had troubles with starting subnautica, i went to start it and it would only start in the taskbar and when i went to click on it nothing happened it was just invisible. I have unbound jump completely, and use Y to Deconstruct instead. If the right joystick worked for looking around, that would be brilliant. This kinda works but I still can't look up and down when in the Seamoth, which is not ideal. I have "solved" this by binding the joystick press buttons to up and down, instead of the grip buttons, and binding the grip buttons to look-left and look-right. But the right joystick doesn't work at all, which is a major bummer because while I can spin around in my office chair to look around without using the joystick, I can't get the Seamoth to rotate at all. The Quest 2 controllers seem to work ok for me, though there aren't enough buttons to be able to press "F" or to press ESC to get to the menus. The game is basically unplayable in VR without my mod The Oculus store version never gets updates and is really old now so it doesn't supports mods. ![]() ![]() Also if you bought the game on the Oculus Store, get a refund immediately and buy it on Steam or Epic instead. Gamepads have 16 buttons but motion controllers only have 10 usable buttons. Originally posted by Who:Motion controllers don't have enough buttons for Subnautica. ![]()
